Simon Schwartz is the founder of Locasaur, an app designed to enhance digital engagement for independent food establishments, retail shops, and service providers since June 2017. Prior to this, Simon co-founded and served as the Executive Director of Almaworks Tech Accelerator from September 2015 to January 2017, facilitating the incubation of over 20 startups from the Columbia University community. As the former President and Senior Advisor of the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE), Simon played a key role in promoting entrepreneurship among students and managed various initiatives including pitch competitions. Earlier experiences include research roles at Terra Alpha Investments LLC and Bowery Capital, as well as a mechanical engineering internship at Lumenium LLC. Simon holds a degree from Columbia University, recognized as a Founder's Scholar, and has also studied at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia.
