Previously, Curtis held positions as a civil engineer and surveying professional at VTN Nevada from June 1995 to September 1996 and as a design/drafter at Psomas from June 1985 to June 1994, contributing to significant projects such as the Plays Vista Development Project in Marina Del Rey, California. Curtis holds a degree from California State University, Los Angeles, and completed high school education from 1973 to 1976.
