Nate Putch has been working in the energy industry since 2009. Nate began their career as a Field Materials Coordinator at Halliburton Energy Services, where they worked until 2013. Nate then moved to GE Oil and Gas, where they held the position of Production Maintenance Field Manager and Field Services Engineer until 2018. In 2018, they became a Lead Field Service Engineer at Baker Hughes. In 2021, they began working as a Valve Technician at Cactus Wellhead and a Field Service and Sales Rep at LOCI Controls, Inc. In their role as Field Services Engineer at GE Oil and Gas, Nate was responsible for the installation of new conventinal and multi-bowl wellhead systems, performing well completions and de-completions, running different types of lubricators, hydraulic and manual, setting and retrieving H Style Back pressure valves and Gray type BPV’s, equipment preparation onshore and preservation of equipment onshore, working with several different valve types and sizes, and assisting shop operations testing equipment prior to shipment offshore.
Nate Putch attended Benton High School from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Nate then attended Bossier Parish Community College from 1996 to 1997, where they studied General Studies. Nate Putch also holds several certifications, such as STCW Basic Fire Fighting from Falk Safety Services (obtained in March 2018), Pressure Control Wellhead School from GE Oil and Gas (obtained in October 2013), BOSIET/HUET Offshore Water Survival from Falk Safety Services (obtained in March 2018), Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from Falk Safety Services (obtained in March 2018), and H2S Certified from Falk Safety Services (obtained in March 2018).
