Christine Tanabe has over 10 years of experience in the go-to-market, product marketing, and communications fields. In 2007, they began their career as the Director of Communications & Program Development at the TKF Foundation. In 2014, they became the Director of Strategic Marketing at BoardEffect, where they implemented a strategic reset for the go-to-market strategy. In 2016, BoardEffect was acquired by Diligent Corporation, and Christine became the Director of Product Marketing. Christine then joined SiteHawk in 2018 as a Strategic Advisor and SVP of Marketing, where they contributed to nearly 200% growth in the company's client base. In 2019, Christine became a Principal at Lock 8 Partners, where they lead the value creation activities for the portfolio.
Christine Tanabe obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in East Asian Studies from Wittenberg University. Christine also holds certifications in Landscape Design from The New York Botanical Garden, Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, and PMC-III from Pragmatic Marketing.
