Nick Holliday

Nick Holliday is an experienced professional with a diverse background in agriculture, outreach, and law. Since October 2014, Nick has worked as a farmer at Belvedere Farm and has served as the Queensland Outreach Coordinator for Lock the Gate since July 2021. Prior roles include Vice-President at the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance from November 2019 to May 2022 and various positions at the Independent Education Union - Queensland and Northern Territory from December 2005 to July 2021, including Branch Organiser, Lead Organiser, and Growth Organiser. Additionally, Nick worked as a freelance writer for ColumnShift Media between January 2008 and December 2013. Early career experiences include roles as an Electorate Officer for the Queensland Government and as an Articled Clerk at WT McMillan & Co. Nick holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Queensland University of Technology, completed in 2004.
