Benjamin Mottinger

Benjamin Mottinger is a Technical Fellow and Chief Architect with over 20 years of experience in aerospace, covering space, ground, and air systems. Currently, Benjamin serves as a chief architect within Lockheed Martin's National Security Space, focusing on defense systems across multiple domains. Benjamin holds a BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and has a diverse background that includes roles in system architecture, autonomous vehicles, and missile defense systems engineering. Their experience spans from small satellite programs to large multi-billion dollar initiatives, including integration, testing, and project management for both R&D and operational projects.
