Deborah Escalante

Deborah (Hudson) Escalante is a Staff Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they focus on structural analysis and design for optical satellites. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, they have extensive experience, including roles as a Robotics Engineering Co-op and various research positions. They lead the stress and dynamics knowledge-sharing team at Lockheed Martin and teach an NX Nastran class, while also serving as the Chair of the Women’s Impact Network at Lockheed Martin Space. Additionally, they completed three six-month co-ops and contributed to significant advancements in electrochemical flow capacitor technology during their time as a student researcher.
