Felix Fontan

Felix Fontan is a Machine Learning and Image Processing Engineer with over ten years of experience in implementing algorithms for Data Analytics and Machine Learning. Currently, they serve as a Senior Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they focus on advanced machine learning applications. Felix has held various positions, including Algorithm Engineer at L3 CyTerra and Research Engineer at Lockheed Martin, during which they developed multiple patented algorithms for imaging and target detection systems. They also have extensive teaching experience, having instructed engineering courses at several institutions, including Valencia College and Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. Felix earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
