Joseph South

Joseph South is a highly experienced Principal Research Engineer at Lockheed Martin since September 2019, previously serving in various leadership roles at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory from March 2003 to September 2019. Joseph has extensive expertise in additive manufacturing technologies and advanced material systems, overseeing substantial technical programs related to materials and manufacturing sciences for Army applications. Previous roles include Chief of Manufacturing Science and Technology Branch, where Joseph managed a diverse workforce, and Chief of Ballistic Structures and Launch Dynamics Branch, focusing on technology advancements and transition to industry.
