Ritika Bais is an accomplished aerospace engineer with experience at Texas Rocket Engineering Lab since January 2019, serving as COPV Responsible Engineer and Co-Test Lead, as well as being a member of the Weather Balloon Team. In this role, Ritika has conducted research in collaboration with Firefly Aerospace, aiming to be part of the first undergraduate team to launch a rocket to 100km, while also designing and testing high-altitude weather balloons to gather critical data for rocket payloads and wind profiles. Additionally, Ritika participated in the Lucy Student Pipeline Accelerator and Competency Enabler (LSPACE) Mission Concept Academy with NASA in May 2019. Ritika Bais holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2022, and a High School Diploma from Centennial High School, completed in 2018.
