Trent Sakakini is currently a Guidance, Navigation and Controls Engineer at Lockheed Martin since July 2023. Previously, as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas (August 2021 - May 2023), Trent developed dynamic models for thermal energy storage devices using Simulink. Experience includes an Engineering Internship at Northrop Grumman (May 2022 - August 2022), where Trent created a proof-of-concept two-phase thermal management system, and an Advanced Technology Internship at Lennox International (June 2021 - August 2021), focusing on data visualization for HVAC systems. Earlier roles include a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Cobalt Product Solutions and an Engineering Internship at First Co., where Trent automated HVAC manufacturing processes. Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing a Master of Science in the same field at The University of Texas at Dallas.
