Doug Ikeler

Doug Ikeler is a seasoned visual effects professional with extensive experience in the animation and film industries. Currently serving as the CTO/SVP of Digital Production at Locksmith Animation since September 2018, Doug has held significant roles such as Visual Effects Supervisor for Disney's "CarsWorld" franchise from October 2012 to July 2018. Prior to that, Doug was a Visual Effects Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks, specializing in notable projects such as "Open Season" and "Arthur Christmas," as well as contributing to visual effects in films like "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "I Am Legend." Additional experience includes working as a Visual Effects Supervisor at Aardman Animations, a Special Effects Supervisor at Dreamworks SKG, and technical roles at Gnomon Inc., Rhythm & Hues, Amblimation, and American Film Technologies. Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from La Jolla Academy of Arts and attended San Diego State University.
