Matt Williams is an Investment Principal at Lockstep Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm that invests in Series A and seed-stage businesses across North America. In this role since 2022, Matt leads investment sourcing and due diligence while supporting portfolio companies' growth. Additionally, Matt serves as the Fund & Community Manager for Wocstar Fund, starting in 2024. Previously, Matt held the position of Private Equity Vice President at Neuberger Berman from 2018 to 2022 and worked at Credit Suisse as an Investment Banking Associate from 2014 to 2018. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School in 2014 and graduated from John Burroughs School in 2010.
