Dedra Ecklund

Dedra Ecklund is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering with extensive experience in project management and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Team Leader and Senior Project Manager at Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. since June 2017, Dedra manages various projects related to conveyance systems and water/wastewater facilities in the greater Houston area. Additionally, Dedra holds the position of Diversity & Inclusion Chair for the Texas Section AWWA since October 2020 and serves as a director for Montgomery County MUD 46 from November 2020 to May 2024. Previous roles include Project Manager at 5engineering, llc, and Engineer 5 at the San Jacinto River Authority, where significant projects included multi-million dollar rehabilitations and replacements of sanitary force mains and lift stations. Dedra earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering with an emphasis in Environmental from Texas A&M University between 1999 and 2004.
