Amir Yahya KERROUMI

Amir Yahya Kerroumi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amir Yahya began their career as a Web Developer at VAL D'ORBIEU UCCOAR in 2008. Amir Yahya then worked as a Network Engineer Intern at Simon Fraser University in 2010, where they upgraded a VoIP project.

Amir's career then shifted to the oil and gas industry, where they worked as a Subsea Control Systems Engineer at EMC3 France. Amir Yahya conducted technical audits, performed software testing inspections, and managed qualification tests for equipment installed on subsea production systems. Amir Yahya also served as a Test Inspector for AKER Solutions, conducting Technical Qualification Programs and Environmental Stress Screening tests.

Moving into the technology sector, Amir became a Senior Software Engineer at intechnologyWiFi UK Ltd in 2015. Amir Yahya developed an in-house content management system and API for Smart Stadiums and Smart Cities projects.

In 2017, they joined Extreme as a Software Engineer, developing backend API features and a task scheduler relying on redis queues. Amir Yahya later joined U Account as a Senior Software Engineer, working on mobile and web banking apps and implementing API services for card management operations.

Amir then joined Event Genius in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they implemented various backend API features and integration with Facebook events and paystack API for international currency support.

Their most recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at Lockwood Publishing Ltd since 2020. Here, they work on the implementation of software services for the Avakin Life mobile game items store and search engine, including the development of multiple features and scripts using Python, STAN & NATS streaming server, and ElasticSearch Python client.

Throughout their career, Amir has gained experience in software development, API integration, system implementation, and project management across different industries.

Amir Yahya Kerroumi pursued their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computational and Software Techniques in Engineering from Cranfield University. Amir Yahya attended this program from 2010 to 2011. Before that, from 2008 to 2011, they also obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from SeaTech Ecole d'ingénieurs.
