Arturo Morán

CEO / General Manager at Loco Tequila

Arturo Morán has a strong background in business development and marketing, with extensive experience in the beverage industry. Arturo currently serves as a Board Member for Loco Tequila USA, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they were the CEO and General Manager of Loco Tequila from 2018 onwards.

From 2012 to 2018, Arturo worked for Nestlé Waters as the Business Development Head for LATAM. Before that, they held the role of Business Development Director at Practical Education for Executives from 2011 to 2012.

Arturo's career also includes roles at Pernod Ricard, where they served as the Marketing Manager for the Sauza Portfolio from 2009 to 2011 and as the International Brand Manager for Olmeca Tequila from 2006 to 2009. Arturo also worked as a Channel Manager at Intel in 2006.

Prior to that, Arturo gained experience at Jose Cuervo as a Brand Coordinator from 2004 to 2006, and at Practical Education for Executives as a Business Manager & Partner from 2003 to 2004.

Arturo began their career at IBM in 2002, where they worked as an Administrative & Delivery Support in Business Operations.

Throughout their career, Arturo has demonstrated their expertise in business development, marketing, and brand management within the beverage industry.

Arturo Morán has a diverse education history. Arturo attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2014, where they earned a Diploma in International Marketing. In the same year, they also studied at the London Business School and received a Leadership degree in Business Administration and Management. In 2009, they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they obtained a Diploma in Management Skills & Decision Making Process. Arturo's educational journey began at Universidad Anáhuac in 1998, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in International Business, which lasted from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Arturo Morán returned to Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for a second time to pursue another Diploma in International Marketing, although the end year for this program is not specified.
