SEO Director at LOCOMOTIVE Agency

Carl Brooks has been working in the SEO industry for over 8 years. Carl started their career at Red Hot Penny, where they worked their way up to Head of SEO. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day performance of the organic search team, as well as creating and implementing effective search strategies for clients.

In October 2013, Carl joined LOCOMOTIVE Agency as their SEO Director. In this role, they are responsible for leading the agency's SEO growth and new business opportunities. Carl also provides expert advice and consultancy services to clients, and is a subject authority for SEO within the agency. Carl has spoken at numerous Digital Marketing Network Events, and is a key driver in award submissions and case study creation.

Carl is an experienced leader and mentor, and has been instrumental in defining the work process, tools and efficiencies within the SEO department at LOCOMOTIVE. Carl is also responsible for resource planning and managing the delivery of SEO services, including internal and 3rd party teams. In addition to their managerial responsibilities, Carl also provides SEO training for internal teams and clients, and is always researching and sharing new knowledge across the agency and client accounts.

Carl Brooks went to Little Heath School.

They are on a team with Amanda Allen - VP, Agency & Client Operations, Erica Fallon - Controller, and Reva Russell English - Digital Content Manager. Daniel Tebbe - Associate SEO Analyst, TJ Dubensky - Associate SEO Analyst report to Carl Brooks. Their manager is Marty Martin, Founder & CEO.
