Pamela Ograbisz, DNP, FNP-BC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Pamela served as the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Associate Vice President of Telehealth at LocumTenens.com, where they were responsible for managing clinical operations and overseeing telehealth initiatives. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Telehealth at the same company.
Before joining LocumTenens.com, Ograbisz worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University, where they taught undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Their research focus included sepsis, health literacy, telehealth, metabolic syndrome, and atrial fibrillation.
Pamela also worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Bethesda Community Clinic, specializing in complex internal medicine cases with a focus on cardiology issues, diabetes mellitus, and renal disease. In this role, they served as a preceptor for nurse practitioner and physician assistant students.
Ograbisz started their career at Sentara Healthcare as the Lead Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiothoracic Surgery Service. Pamela played a crucial role in developing and implementing the Nurse Practitioner role in both inpatient and outpatient settings for cardiothoracic surgery.
Pamela Ograbisz, DNP, FNP-BC holds a doctoral degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Pamela also obtained a master's degree from Old Dominion University and a bachelor's degree from George Mason University. In addition to their degrees, they have certifications in ACLS/BLS from the American Heart Association and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
