Charbel Cherfan

Charbel Cherfan has a diverse work experience in the fields of biotechnology, technology development, and microbiology. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Akron. In 2018, they joined Locus Fermentation Solutions as a Production Microbiologist, where they played a crucial role in scaling production for nationwide sales and overseeing orders. In 2020, they transitioned to Locus Performance Ingredients, first as a Technology Development Manager and later as the Director of Biotechnology.

Charbel Cherfan pursued their education in the field of biology. Charbel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a major in Biology, General, from The University of Akron, a school they attended between 2012 and 2016. Subsequently, between 2016 and 2018, Charbel completed a Master's degree in Molecular Biology at The University of Akron.
