William Chan

William Chan is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. As a Co-Founder of Wave Commerce since April 2011 and Locus Ventures since September 2016, William has been involved in seed investments in notable companies such as Meesho and Standard Cognition. In addition, William serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at YesAsia.com, where responsibilities include chairing the Remuneration Committee and serving on both the Audit and Nomination Committees. Previous roles include a Tech Lead at Google and software engineering positions at various prominent tech firms. William holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, alongside a foundational education from Carnegie Mellon University and Queen's College.
