Daniel R. Contardi

Daniel R. Contardi is a Managing Director and a founding member of Locust Point Capital. Mr. Contardi is responsible for directing the firm’s originations, credit analysis, and asset management teams. Mr. Contardi’s extensive relationships and in-depth knowledge of the senior housing and care markets, has led him to become one of the most trusted leaders within the industry. Mr. Contardi has spent the last twelve years originating, underwriting and managing investments in the senior housing and care sector. Over this time, has served as a portfolio manager, underwriter, and originator for six prior healthcare investment funds. Throughout his career, Mr. Contardi has participated in over 400 transactions representing approximately $1 billion in senior debt, mezzanine, and preferred equity investments within the long-term care, senior housing and healthcare services industries. Mr. Contardi holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School. In addition, Mr. Contardi is an assisted living administrator certified by the state of North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services - Division of Health Service.
