Kaitlin DeMarco

Kaitlin DeMarco has a diverse range of work experience. Kaitlin began their professional career as a Research Assistant at the MAP Study in October 2018, where they worked until May 2019. From June 2018 to July 2021, they served as a Public Service Scholar at Buckley Public Service Scholars. Following this, they joined the Cassidy Plasticity Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in May 2019, and held the position until July 2021. Kaitlin then became the Director of Internal Affairs at UNC Kenan-Flagler Undergraduate Healthcare Club from August 2020 to July 2021. In September 2020, they joined SPENGA as a Front Desk Associate, and remained in this role until July 2021. Most recently, they joined Locust Walk in July 2021 as an Analyst and was promoted to Senior Analyst in December 2022.

Kaitlin DeMarco completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2017 and 2021. In addition, they obtained a Business Minor in Business Administration and Management, General from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School during the same period. In 2019, they also studied at UNSW, although the degree and field of study are not specified. Kaitlin has obtained several certifications, including VC University ONLINE in November 2022, Good Clinical Practice - Social and Behavioral Research Best Practices for Clinical Research, Group 1 Biomedical Research Human Subjects Training, and Group 2 Social and Behavioral Research Human Subjects Training from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in respective years. Additionally, they hold a Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification from the American Red Cross, which they acquired in July 2016.
