Iwaz Barwari

Iwaz Barwari is a highly experienced Physician Assistant specializing in ophthalmology and previously in orthopedics and trauma. Since June 2018, Iwaz has been the first and only PA at Loden Vision Centers, contributing significantly to the practice's reputation and clinical outcomes while treating a diverse range of ophthalmology conditions. Prior to this, Iwaz served as a Physician Assistant at the Texas Health Ben Hogan Concussion Center, where responsibilities included evaluating acute and chronic concussion patients. Experience includes roles at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in interventional radiology, Structure Orthopedics focusing on orthopedic surgery, and Parkland Health & Hospital System in the orthopedic trauma department. Iwaz holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University.
