Brendan McNamara

Brendan McNamara is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Manager - Legal & CoSec at Lodestone Energy Limited since September 2022, after previously holding the position of Senior Legal Counsel. Prior to this role, Brendan was Legal Counsel at Mercury NZ from July 2019 to September 2022. Brendan's career includes various positions at Prudentia Law from May 2015 to July 2019, where responsibilities ranged from Associate to Senior Solicitor, along with experience as a Solicitor and Law Clerk. Brendan also worked as an Insurance Consultant - Digital at TOWER New Zealand Limited for a brief period in 2015. Earlier involvement includes volunteering as a Legal Clinic Assistant at Citizens Advice Bureau (Eden/Albert) and managerial experience at Extreme Indoor Karts Ltd. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) conjoint with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland, along with Legal Professional Studies from the College of Law, Auckland.
