Abimbola Bamgbelu

Abimbola Bamgbelu has a diverse work experience spanning from 2017 to the present. Their most recent role is with LodgeLink, where they have been working as a Full-stack Developer since May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at LodgeLink from May 2022 to May 2023.

In 2021, Abimbola worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, collaborating with teams to build software applications and also taking on independent projects. They developed an application for a law firm that managed over 5000 sales, as well as a food service application offering weekly food recommendations, food recipe sales, and meal tutorial services.

Before their freelance role, Abimbola volunteered in 2020, working on various projects such as the Open Source Festival, Sustain Oss, and developing applications for a workspace hub and a restaurant.

In 2020, Abimbola also served as a Software Developer at Ebidhaa Services Nigeria Limited. There, they played a key role in developing, upgrading, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of software applications. They also collaborated with the team to create extensible and maintainable backend architectural systems for clients.

Prior to their career in software development, Abimbola worked as a Graphic Designer at Bedouin in 2017.

Abimbola Bamgbelu completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Babcock University, from 2014 to 2018. Subsequently, from 2021 to 2023, Abimbola pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Relations at Mount Saint Vincent University. In addition to their formal education, Abimbola obtained several certifications in various digital marketing areas. They earned an E-Commerce Certification from the eMarketing Institute in July 2019, The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Certification from Google Digital Skills For Africa in January 2019, Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy in May 2019, Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy in October 2019, Inbound Certified from HubSpot Academy in July 2019, and Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in August 2019.
