Alasdair Hooper

Alasdair Hooper serves as the Vice President of Development and Communications at LOFT Community Services, where responsibilities include leading fundraising, marketing, and communications initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Prior to this role, Alasdair was the National Director of Major Gifts at the Canadian Red Cross, managing significant donor relationships and participating in a major campaign. Alasdair's previous experience includes positions such as Director of Campaign and Development at The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall, where revenue for the Massey Hall Forever Campaign significantly increased, and Associate Director of Advancement at York University, where fundraising achievements included establishing numerous endowed scholarships. Additional roles in philanthropy include leadership positions at Renascent Foundation, Casey House, and the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research. Alasdair holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Cultural Studies from Trent University and completed the Canadian Gift Planning Course.
