Carolyn Yashari Becher

Carolyn Yashari Becher is an accomplished advisor and leader with extensive experience in organizational development and legal strategy across various sectors. Currently serving as an advisor at LOFT: Leaders on the Fast Track, Carolyn plays a key role in recruiting and evaluating candidates for the LOFT Fellowship. Previously, as the interim executive director at LOFT, Carolyn successfully established a fellowship program and managed strategic planning, external partnerships, and communications. As a co-founder of HopSkipDrive, a technology company focused on transforming school transportation, Carolyn contributed to legal and operational strategies while negotiating landmark contracts. Carolyn also holds leadership roles in multiple ventures, including Clean30 and Pearline Health, and has served as a mentor with Techstars and as a limited partner with Everywhere Ventures. Carolyn’s legal expertise, operational acumen, and commitment to innovation are underscored by a solid educational foundation, including a J.D. from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley.

LOFT is a one year paid fellowship that invests in today's best progressive campaign and public service talent. It exposes senior leaders to critical leadership and business skills taught by premier MBA programs and used by the nation’s most innovative private-sector companies. In partnership with the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, the program aims to retain and develop promising talent through leadership coaching, academic learning, on-the-job experiences, and network-building.
