Aldo Martinez

Aldo Martinez has a diverse range of photography experience. Aldo started their career in 2015 as a Photographer at Loft on Lake, where they covered conventions, fashion shows, and corporate events. Aldo was responsible for editing and pre-editing images, ensuring high quality and proper color correction. Aldo also captured images as directed, taking into consideration lighting, shadows, and lens requirements.

In 2017, Aldo joined Shootvenirs as a Photographer, specializing in creating and capturing artistic images for travelers worldwide. Aldo built relationships with clients, consulting with them during pre and post-production to meet their needs. Aldo also conducted research and prepared for each shoot.

In 2018, Aldo became an Event Photographer at Candidly (formerly Kandid.ly). Aldo photographed a variety of events, including birthday parties, baby showers, sweet 16 celebrations, and baptisms. Aldo edited and pre-edited images to ensure quality and proper color correction before delivering them to clients.

Prior to these roles, Aldo worked as a Photographer Sales at Shoreline Sightseeing in 2016, where they welcomed and directed guests, took souvenir photographs, and completed sales transactions.

In 2015, Aldo gained experience as a Photography Intern at CUSP Magazine. During their internship, they traveled to venues to perform photographic coverage of events and interviews. Aldo also shot interesting pictures of different people, occasions, and products. Aldo edited, enhanced, resized, and published these photos in the print-based magazine.

Throughout their career, Aldo has demonstrated a strong photography skillset, including capturing artistic images, building client relationships, and delivering high-quality edited photographs for various events and purposes.

Aldo Martinez attended City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College from 2010 to 2015, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Photography.
