Demetris Hoplaros has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Demetris started their career as an IT Specialist at MEDISYS CONSULTANCY AND IT SERVICES LTD, where they provided technical support to users and conducted user training in medical applications. Demetris then worked as a Sessional Tutor at Monash University and RMIT University, where they tutored students, explained concepts, and marked assignments.

Demetris then transitioned into software development roles. Demetris joined Asta as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of web-based applications and also participated in requirements gathering and design. Demetris later joined Betologic as a Software Developer, where they were involved in maintaining microservices infrastructure and implemented a monitoring and deployment tool.
