Karen Loftus has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Karen began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Purtle & Associates in 1995 and worked there for three years. Karen then joined Moore Engineers PC as a Project Manager in 1998 and stayed with the company until 2003. Karen later transitioned to Applied Engineering Services, Inc. where they served as a Project Manager from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they founded their own company, Loftus Engineering, Inc., where they currently hold the position of Owner.
Karen Loftus attended Purdue University from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering.
