Abishek Baskaran

Abishek Baskaran has had a varied and successful career in the technology industry. Abishek began their career in 2006 as an Intern at Goldman Sachs, where they developed a reporting web application for ad-hoc data querying. In 2008, they moved to Oracle, where they were responsible for enhancements and performance tuning for Oracle ERP's CRM, sales order, and pricing modules. In 2010, they rejoined Goldman Sachs as a Senior Analyst Developer, where they designed and developed critical data-driven financial applications for data import, data processing, and data access. Abishek was also a proponent of RESTful services for data access and a core member of Goldman Sachs' Big Data Interest group. In 2014, they co-founded LogBase Technologies, where they run SaaS apps for Shopify and restaurants, such as Pickeasy, Shipeasy, and Selleasy, as well as SlickPOS, a Swiggy and Zomato integrated restaurant management system.

Abishek Baskaran completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology between 2002 and 2007. Prior to that, they attended Carmel Garden from 1988 to 2002, where they obtained their High School diploma in Computer Science.
