Carlos Souza

Co-Founder & COO at LogComex

Carlos Souza has worked for a variety of companies since 2007. Carlos began their career as an Analist for Pinho International in 2007, then moved to Nissan do Brasil in 2010 as a Quality Assurance. In 2011, they became a Project Manager for Pinho International Logistics. In 2013, they became a Partner at Escala Capital de Risco. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Board Member and Director for Grupo Pinho. Finally, they are currently a Co-Founder and COO of LogComex.

Carlos Souza has a well-rounded educational background. Carlos attended Universidade Federal do Paraná from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering. Carlos then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2011 to 2013, with a focus on International Business/Trade/Commerce. In 2013, Souza attended both Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed courses in Leading Professional Service Firms and Understanding and Solving Complex Business Problems, respectively. From 2014 to 2015, Souza again attended FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, where they earned an MBA in Financial Management, Accounting and Auditing. During this time, they also attended Bloc to complete a Full Stack Web Development course in Ruby on Rails. Carlos is currently enrolled in a Mergers & Aquisitions course at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa.
