Justin Perrault

Justin Perrault has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of marine life and research. Justin started off as an Educator/Aquarist at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher in 2005. Justin then worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Florida Atlantic University from 2006 to 2013, where they earned the Teaching Assistant of the Year Award. Subsequently, they joined Mote Marine Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on researching marine turtles and the effects of toxicants on their health. In 2015, they became a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Currently, since 2017, they hold the position of Director of Research at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Throughout their various roles, Perrault has gained expertise in areas such as marine turtle research, teaching, and public education.

Justin Perrault received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Justin attended the university from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Integrative Biology at Florida Atlantic University. Justin completed their Ph.D. program from 2006 to 2013.
