Kiran Hegde

Kiran Hegde has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Kiran began their career in 1995 as a Co-founder and Director of New Technologies at Infoglobe. Kiran then moved to Navigant in 1997 as a Scope Navigant. In 1999, they joined drugstore.com as a Software Engineer. In 2000, they became the Chief Software Architect at Vendaria Media, where they developed and built a scalable video streaming and syndication platform. In 2003, they joined Microsoft as a Senior Software Consultant and Honeywell as an Enterprise Architect. At Honeywell, they built a Multi-Site Manager, a large scale SQL MPP Data warehouse energy profiling web product. In 2008, they became the Chief System Architect of the Building Solutions Group at Honeywell. In 2012, they co-founded LotVue LLC, where they built a data-driven spatial map using SVG/scalable vector graphics. In 2010, they joined LogicMatter as CTO, managing global teams to deliver multiple client projects and platform initiatives. Kiran also led a polyglot framework development that uses SQL, Python, C#/DotNetCore, ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, and Google AppScripts. Kiran supported cloud-agnostic BI solutions that can be provisioned on AWS, Azure, and VMs, and integrate with various types of Legacy/SaaS ERPs, CRMs, and IoT devices.

Kiran Hegde's educational history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore University, obtained between 1981 and 1985. Kiran then obtained a Master of Technology in BioMedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay between 1989 and 1991. Following this, they completed an MSSE in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University between 2004 and 2006. In addition, Hegde has two certifications from Microsoft, an MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 obtained in September 1997 and an MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional obtained in August 1997.
