Pallavi Rao has worked in a variety of roles since 1993. Pallavi began their career as a model, working on print, television, and billboard ads for brands such as Motorola, Brooke Bond Red Label, TATA, BPL, Kodak, and Nivaran Cough Syrups. In 1998, they became a Sales Business Development Executive at Asian Age in Bangalore, where they were responsible for planning a fashion supplement from end to end, including getting ad revenue and working with the editorial staff for related articles. In 2005, they worked as a UK Process for AMEX at Wipro Technologies. From 2000 to 2010, they were the SMB Owner at Anushka Products, where they were in charge of fulfillment and delivery of FMCG products for Mumbai. Lastly, from 2010 to present, they have been the COO and Managing Director at LogicMatter, a data management and reporting company with expertise in building automation solutions. As part of the start up journey, they have played multiple roles and has been a creative, agile, and quick learner to support the needs of the business.

Pallavi Rao has an education history beginning in 1980, when they attended St. Anthony's Girls High School in Mumbai. Pallavi then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics from Ramnarain Ruia College from 1989 to 1993. In 1996, they received a first prize for the Entrepreneurship Certificate for Women from the Small Scale Industries Service Institute. In 1999, they were certified for Voice Modulation and Voiceover from the Siddharth Kanan School for Voice Modulation in Mumbai. Pallavi then earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from ICFAI University and most recently, in 2018-2019, they attended the Wharton School, where they completed the Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program. Additionally, they hold Grade IV Piano certification from Trinity College of London and a Travel and Tourism certification from IATA.
