Ian O'Brien

Ian O'Brien has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Ian currently holds the position of Managing Director Sourcing and Procurement at LogicSource, Inc., where they are responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals and overseeing strategy, execution, and value delivery across all procurement categories. Prior to this role, Ian worked at Applied Materials as the Head of Global General Procurement Center of Excellence, where they focused on aligning strategy, people, process, and technology to support the global indirect procurement team. Ian also served as the Vice President of Supply Chain at the American Cancer Society, where they established the Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Supply Chain organizations and implemented several successful initiatives to increase spend under management and achieve savings. In addition, Ian gained valuable experience at SunTrust Bank, Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, and Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services in various procurement and strategic sourcing roles.

Ian O'Brien obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Duke University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. From 1996 to 1998, they attended Texas McCombs School of Business and completed their Master of Business Administration degree, majoring in Business.
