Chris Ahrens

Chris Ahrens has worked in software development since 2004. Chris began their career as a Software Developer at Trane in 2004, then moved to Kaplan Professional in 2008 as Director of Business Systems and Software Development Manager. In 2015, they joined CentralSquare Technologies as Software Development Manager, leading multiple remote teams developing public safety software suites. In 2021, they began working at LogicStream Health Inc. as Software Development Manager. During their career, Ahrens has improved the software development process by working with all internal teams to streamline prioritization, planning and workflow of the SDLC, while increasing communication across teams. Chris has also added several internal processes including technical documentation, branch management, cross-training, requirements review, code reviews and technical design. Ahrens has also trained, documented, performed user acceptance testing and provided ongoing support of ERP modules. The methodologies/technologies they have used include Scrum, SOA, REST, SOAP, MVC, JQuery, .NET, C#, and SQL.

Chris Ahrens obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2005. In 2007, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Viterbo University.
