Barry Hatcher

Barry Hatcher has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Barry started their career as a Workforce Management Scheduling Analyst, Account Manager, and Project Manager/Supervisor at Vonage from August 2006 to February 2011. Barry then worked as a Lead Scheduling Analyst at Synchronoss Technologies from September 2011 to November 2011. Following that, they were a Sales Supervisor at Batteryzone Inc from November 2011 to December 2012.

In 2012, Barry joined Pomeroy as a Problem Determination Specialist where they performed health checks, rack and stack equipment, and conducted hardware upgrades for clients until November 2014. Barry then worked at Chase as a Level 2 Site Engineer from November 2014 to April 2016, where they resolved network and hardware issues and supported new data center build-outs.

Currently, Barry is employed at Logicworks as a Datacenter Engineer/Cloud Support Associate since April 2016. Barry'sresponsibilities include hardware provisioning, replacement of failed hardware, and hands-on response to hardware emergencies. Barry also prepares rack and data center space for the addition of clients and performs other hands-on work required at the data center. Additionally, they install, configures, and maintains server-class hardware and network infrastructure hardware.

Barry Hatcher's education history begins in 2004 when they attended Brookdale Community College, where they studied Communications/Broadcasting. Barry then went on to DeVry University in 2012, earning an Associate's in Applied Science in Electronic and Computer Technology, completing their studies in 2014. In 2015, Barry returned to DeVry University to pursue a degree in Technical Management, although the completion status of this degree is unknown. Most recently, in 2022, they enrolled at Western Governors University, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Cloud Computing, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Barry Hatcher has obtained several certifications. Barry became an AWS Certified Developer-Associate in July 2019, an AWS Solutions Architect-Associate in October 2018, and an AWS Cloud Practitioner in November 2021, all through Amazon Web Services. Barry also holds several certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA A+ ce Certification (obtained in September 2022), CompTIA Network+ ce Certification (obtained in October 2022), CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification (obtained in October 2022), and CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification (obtained in January 2023).
