Kim Tran, MBCP

Kim Tran, MBCP, has over 23 years of work experience in various roles related to business continuity and IT disaster recovery. Kim is currently working as a Senior Cloud Service Delivery Manager at Logicworks. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Service Delivery Manager, Managed Cloud Services at Presidio from 2016 to 2022. In this role, they managed overall business relationships with accounts and ensured client satisfaction and optimum service delivery. Kim also worked closely with account managers and business development managers to drive additional business.

Kim Tran has also served as a Board Member at the Association of Contingency Planners, South TX Chapter in 2016. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Business Continuity Consultant from 2015 to 2016.

From 2008 to 2014, Kim Tran worked as the Lead Business Continuity Strategist, MBCP at Stewart Title. In this role, they developed strategic plans and standards for corporate resiliency and oversaw the development of business continuity plans for all affiliate offices, business functions, and technology in the United States and international countries.

Prior to that, Kim Tran worked at JPMorgan Chase as a PMO - Technology Resilience from 2007 to 2008. In this role, they managed business continuity plans for various areas and collaborated with the business continuity management team.

Earlier in their career, Kim Tran worked as a Business Consultant at Financial Objects, where they analyzed client business for the implementation of Credit Risk Management software at Shell Trading. Kim also worked at Duke Energy as a Senior Trading and Risk Analyst/Business Continuity Coordinator/PMO and as a Senior Database Administrator.

Throughout their career, Kim Tran has demonstrated expertise in business continuity, IT disaster recovery, client relationship management, and strategic planning.

Kim Tran, MBCP, has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Houston. Additionally, they hold the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft (obtained in March 2023), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (obtained in March 2021), and Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) from DRI International (obtained in July 2014).
