LogiHire is Australia's specialist recruitment agency for freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, transport, customs and maritime — founded in Sydney in 2023 by Sam Smeaton and Fhiona Lamb.

We were built to solve a specific problem: Australian freight and logistics businesses were being underserved by generalist agencies that lacked the industry knowledge to find, assess and place the right talent. LogiHire changed that.

We recruit across every function — Business Development Managers, Customs Brokers, Import/Export Coordinators, Operations Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Branch Managers and General Managers — from entry level through to executive. We place across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

92% of our placements are sourced off-market. The best freight and logistics professionals are already employed and being actively retained by your competitors. We reach them because they come to us first — built on over 1.26 million organic LinkedIn impressions and a decade of industry relationships.

Our average placement time is 16 days — significantly faster than the industry average. Our Google rating is 5.0. We are active members of the Freight & Trade Alliance and proud hosts of The Forward Thinking Podcast — Australia's leading freight forwarding and logistics podcast, hosted by Co-Founder Sam Smeaton.

We offer three engagement models to suit every business: Contingent (no upfront cost, pay on placement), Subscription (always-on partnership with significant savings), and Retained Search (guaranteed delivery for your most critical hires).

Whether you are a hiring manager looking to build a stronger freight team, or a logistics professional ready for your next move — LogiHire is the team that knows your industry inside out.
