Jim McCarthy currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and EVP of Product & Sales at Thredd since January 2023. In addition to these roles, McCarthy holds several advisory and board positions at companies including Car IQ Inc., MagicCube, Inc., TreviPay, KyckGlobal, Strivve, Inc., and LOQUAT Inc. Notably, McCarthy was President of i2c Inc. from March 2020 to January 2023 and served as a Strategic Advisor at Mobeewave from December 2018 to April 2020. Previously, McCarthy had a significant tenure at Visa, where the position held was EVP of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships from July 1999 to December 2017. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from William & Mary and attended VCU School of Dentistry for further education.
