Garry M.

Garry M. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Garry started their career in 1999 as a Sales/Customer Service Representative at Sony Canada Inc, where they provided customer support for Sony products and managed inventory control and logistics. Garry then worked as a Tech Support/ISR at D LINK from 2004 to 2006.

In 2006, Garry joined HP as an Inside Sales Account Manager and held this role until 2010, when they became an ESSN Executive Account Manager at Hewlett-Packard Canada Co. In these positions, they focused on IT solution selling and optimizing business potential for customers in Calgary, Alberta.

Garry then transitioned to IBM in 2012 and spent three years as an IBM Rational Software Sales Specialist for Western Canada. During this time, they helped customers transform their software development processes to create more innovative products and services.

From 2015 to 2018, Garry held various roles at IBM, including Hybrid Cloud Integration - Enterprise Account Manager and Cloud & DevOps Sales Specialist. In these positions, they worked on implementing DevOps strategies and promoting cloud and DevOps solutions.

Garry further expanded their sales career by joining Oracle in 2018 as a Regional Sales Director, Enterprise Accounts. Garry managed enterprise sales activities until 2020, when they transitioned to SAP as a Senior Solution Sales Executive.

Currently, Garry works as an Account Executive at LogiSense Corporation, a company specializing in usage-based billing and monitoring solutions for IoT and XaaS companies. In this role, their responsibilities include working with IT leaders to maximize revenue opportunities and drive growth through the usage economy.

Garry M. obtained a Computer Engineering Technology Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts Technology from 2000 to 2002. Garry then pursued a Bachelor of Management Degree in Specialized Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing Operations at Athabasca University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at North Park Secondary School from 1995 to 1999, earning an O.S.S.D in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In addition, Garry achieved the certification of Hybrid Cloud Foundations from IBM in February 2017.
