Willem de Jong

Willem de Jong has extensive work experience in various roles within the Mitsubishi group of companies. Willem started their career at General Electric with an internship in 1998. In 2000, they worked on a graduation product at BMW Motorrad. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as an IT Consultant at a Linux IT startup. Willem then joined Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe in 2003, initially as an International Product Manager and later as an Area Sales Manager. In 2008, they became the Program Manager and eventually the General Manager of Customer Relations. In 2017, they moved to Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe B.V. as the General Manager of Equipment, where they were responsible for various departments and had a significant scope of management. Currently, they hold the role of VP Sales Support & Development at Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe since July 2020.

Willem de Jong received their MSC degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 1993 and 2001. In 2017, they completed a KIM Leadership training at Van Harte & Lingsma.
