Joseph Niehaus

SVP, Logistics at Logistics Management Institute

Joe oversees development and delivery of end-to-end solutions that enhance supply chain resiliency and mitigate risk for LMI’s customers. His team of 130 logisticians and supply chain experts serve a diverse range of federal organizations, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), U.S. Postal Service, and U.S. Border Patrol.

With over 23 years of leadership experience, Joe has a record of success in the logistics field, most recently serving as vice president for logistics within SAIC’s solutions and technology group. His responsibilities included leading the strategy, development, and execution of advanced and effective supply chain capabilities and solutions. Throughout his career, he has led teams focused on logistics, supply chain, and lifecycle sustainment solution delivery.

Before joining SAIC, Joe held program manager and equipment business area manager roles at EAI Corporation, where he managed the supply chain services for a portfolio of federal, federal-civilian, state, and local agencies.

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Ohio University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Loyola University. He is also a certified supply chain professional with the Association of Supply Chain Management.
