Carol Smith

Carol Smith has a strong background in leadership and management roles in the education sector before transitioning into a Chief Operating Officer (COO) position at Logit.io in 2018. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at The Sutton Academy as a Learning Director, where they played a vital role in the development of education standards and the success of the faculty. Carol provided strategic leadership to a large team and established positive working relationships. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Dean Trust Wigan as a Faculty Leader, where they were responsible for strategic planning, budget allocations, and implementing policies and strategies to improve results and outcomes. In 2018, they joined Logit.io as the company's COO, overseeing its divisions of cloud, on-premise, and consultancy.

Carol Smith obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Key Stage 2/3 Design Technology with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Liverpool John Moores University between 2005 and 2008. In 2017, they obtained a PRINCE 2 certification in Project Management from Knowledge Academy. Prior to their university education, they completed a diploma in Art & Design from St Helens College in 2005. For their A Levels, they attended Sutton Sports College Sixth Form from 2002 to 2004. Finally, their secondary education was completed at Sutton High Sports College from 1997 to 2002.
