Thom Mayer

Thom Mayer, MD, is an experienced healthcare executive and medical leader currently serving as Executive Vice President at LogixHealth since February 2022. With a long-standing role as Medical Director for the NFL Players Association since 2001, Thom also shares expertise as a speaker for both the Executive Speakers Bureau and Studer Group. Additionally, Thom is the founder of BestPractices, Inc., which has been in operation since 1989, and previously held the position of National Executive Vice President at EmCare from 2011 to 2018. Education credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine, a residency in Pediatrics/Surgery from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology-Biology-Chemistry from Hanover College.
