Kseniya Kurakova

Game Department Head at Logrus IT

Kseniya Kurakova has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kseniya started their career at WESSLING as a Refeernent from October 2008 to April 2009. Kseniya then joined the Kurchatov Institute as the Head of Stenography and Translation Sub-Department, where they worked from April 2009 to April 2012. At Kurchatov Institute, their responsibilities included stenography, documentation translation, program testing, and organizing international meetings.

In 2012, Kseniya worked as a Client-Specific Translator at HP SYSTEMS from July 2012 to August 2013. Following that, they worked as an English Teacher at OOO Moy Proekt from February 2012 to December 2013.

In 2013, Kseniya joined ITI as a Localization Manager and worked there until May 2014. Kseniya'srole at ITI involved managing localization projects.

From May 2014 to September 2017, Kseniya worked as a Senior Project Coordinator at Neotech. Kseniya'sresponsibilities included managing and supervising localization projects, translation, review, glossary creation, client consulting, budget handling, quality assurance, meetings, and various related tasks.

Since December 2017, Kseniya has been associated with Logrus IT. Kseniya started as a Senior Project Manager and worked in this role until August 2022. Following that, they served as the Head of Unit and then as the Game Department Head, which is their current role.

Throughout their career, Kseniya has gained expertise in project management, localization, translation, client consulting, and team coordination.

Kseniya Kurakova has a diverse educational background. In 2008, they obtained a Master's degree in Philology from the State Academy of Slavic Culture. In 2012, they attended the School of Design and Aesthetics, where they graduated with a degree in Interior Design.

In addition to their formal education, Kseniya has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. In 2017, they obtained a Memsource Trainer certification and a Python 3 Tutorial certification from SoloLearn. In 2019, they earned a Content Marketing Certificate from HubSpot. Moving forward, they continued to enhance their skills with certifications such as Introduction to the Irish Language from Alison - Free Online Learning and Croeso Cymraeg Gwaith from Dysgu Cymraeg / Learn Welsh in 2020.

Furthermore, they obtained several certifications in 2021 including The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage, Effective Business Communication Skills from Google Digital Garage, Communicate your ideas through storytelling and design from OpenClassrooms, as well as Project Management certifications in Project Management and Remote Team Management from Project Management Club.
