Marty Boyd

Marty Boyd serves as the Planning Director at LOI Engineers, starting in October 2025. With a robust background in urban planning and a multidisciplinary approach, the Planning Section under Boyd's leadership provides comprehensive services including land use strategy and transportation planning. Prior to this role, Boyd retired from the Texas Department of Transportation in August 2025, where the position held was Director of Advanced Transportation Planning, a role occupied for over thirty years starting in February 1995. Educational credentials include attendance at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and New Mexico State University (NMSU).
