Mike Virtanen

Mike Virtanen has extensive experience in network and security engineering, currently serving as the Head of NOC, Managed Services, and Cyber, Cloud & Connect at Loihde since January 2012, where previous roles included NOC Team Manager and Security Engineer. Prior to Loihde, Mike worked as a Security Engineer at Nordic LAN&WAN Communication Oy from January 2012 to June 2023, focusing on firewall administration with CheckPoint products and switch configurations. Earlier in the career, Mike held positions as a Network Engineer at Andritz from 2007 to 2011, overseeing Juniper SSL VPNs and mobile device management. Mike holds a Master of Science in Knowledge Management and Information Networks from LUT University and a Bachelor's Degree in Networks and Telecommunication from Lahti University of Applied Sciences.
