Leo Chu

Leo Chu's work experience begins in 2005 as an Engineer Trainee at Bureau Veritas, where they worked their way up to Supervisor. Leo then became an Assistant Manager at Bureau Veritas in 2009 before moving on to become the Manager of Process Control at the Shanghai Softline Division of Bureau Veritas in 2010. In 2011, Leo joined Isa Traesko as the Material Testing Manager, focusing on analyzing and optimizing footwear raw materials. Leo then worked as an Assistant Testing & Product Safety Manager at Quiksilver Asia Sourcing Limited from 2014 to 2015 before joining Gap International Sourcing Limited as a Product Integrity Manager, leading the accessories product integrity team. In 2018, Leo became the Senior Manager of Product Stewardship Asia at VF Asia Pacific, where they led the product stewardship function in Asia. Leo then returned to Gap International Sourcing Limited as a Product Integrity Manager from 2015 to 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Product Integrity Manager at Gap International Sourcing Limited, leading the vendors' empowerment program and overseeing product compliance and quality improvement. Leo most recently served as the QA & QC Manager at Sportsdirect.com Asia Ltd., responsible for overseeing all quality functions and managing teams in HK and offshore. Leo is currently the Head of Quality at LOJEL.

Leo Chu attended Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Secondary School from 1993 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they studied Science with a focus on Physics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2012, Leo obtained an Advanced Scuba Diver certification from NAUI.
